McTiernan to plead guilty: LAT, AP

The sixth Pellicano guilty plea arrives today:

“Director John McTiernan will appear in court this afternoon and is expected to plead guilty to charges that he lied to the FBI in the unfolding federal investigation of wiretapping and other alleged wrongdoing by Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano.”

And as Nikki Finke has noted abundantly, the L.A. Times is a bit behind the eight ball on this story, too; in its online post, it leaves out the interesting detail that McTiernan has copped a plea, which the AP notes but doesn’t expand upon.
