Media Babies! A little New York bundle of joy for ’06

A zillion congratulations go out to New York mag Culture Editor Emily Nussbaum and Slate gaming columnist/frequent NYmag/NYTmag/Wired/Details contributor/bitchin’ tech blogger Clive Thompson, who welcomed little bundle of joy Gabriel Ezra Thompson at 7:29 am on December 27, 2005. As the proud papa says, “He’s healthy, happy, and if I do say so myself, insanely cute.” Fishbowl agrees; check out his cute little face! Aw. (Plus he’s half Canadian! Whee!) Knowing his parents, the kid probably won’t be very cool, smart, or up on pop culture. (That’s a joke. This kid can look forward to a future of killing at Trivial Purusit).

Here’s a thought: Fishbowl baby album? Absent the seed of my own womb, I’d love to post pics of new media babies or toddlers or what not – it would be cool to see your spawn! Send ‘em on in and we’ll coo all over your baby too. High bar of cuteness to reach though – look at widdle Gabriel’s widdle cheeks! Aw. Adorable. Congratulations, Emily and Clive!!!!
