It's almost April, which in FishbowlNY land we look forward to because that means it's time for the annual green issues from magazines worldwide. This year, however, we're stepping it up. Well, not us exactly, but the Society of Publication Designers, who is hosting a panel at FIT on Thursday entitled "Can We Make A Green Magazine?"

Good question. We have no idea, but four people who do — Todd Paglia, executive director, ForestEthics, Frank Locantore, director, Magazine Paper project, Scott Stowell, design director of Good Magazine, and proprietor of OPEN design studio, and Gary Cosimini, business development director, Adobe Systems — will debate the issue so we can sound smart later at the bar.
