Media Minutiae: Keith Kelly Kopied Us!· A Web Blogger, Keith? You shouldn't have... Though we've got Lunch at Michael's covered on Wednesdays, we thank NY Post media man Keith Kelly for picking up our slack on Thursday. There's only so much cobb salad we can eat. "There were so many heavy hitters packed into media hot spot Michael's on Thursday, some wonder if Web blogger Mediabistro, which chronicles who sits where every Wednesday, may want to add another day of the week to their lineup." [New York Post] · The Times may not know, but Inky sure does... Congratulations to Philadelphia Inquirer reporters John Shiffman and Steve Goldstein for being the first to reveal Judith Miller's release. The Times learned of Miller's release later in the day, from a source who declined to identify themselves because it was simply too embarrassing. [Inky] [CJR] · So what's it like on the other side, AJ? AJ Daulerio, perhaps best know for his nasty little "Rock and a Hard Place" interviews on our second-favorite website, The Black Table (cough-disclosure-cough), was quizzed about his new gambling/blogging gig over at Oddjack. Given the amount of crap Daulerio has forced everyone from Tom Scocca to Jared Paul Stern to answer, PR Week let him off easy. Where were the awkward "would you rather" questions? Maybe next time. [PR Week] · It appears Columbia's Class of 2005 is all employed. If not, why else would they have a hurricaine benefit where the minimum donation was $40? Those editorial assistant jobs are paying bigger bucks than we remember from our day. What's left after the Cajun snacks and Abita beer will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. But really, how many Saturday nights do you have a chance to help someone other than yourself? Yeah, you know the truth. [Bevies for the Levees] Email This Post |
