Men’s Health Preps For iPad With Digital Magazine Content

men's_health_4.2.10.jpg

Update: We’ve received an email from the good folks at Men’s Health with more info about the iPad version of their magazine. The April issue (complete with iPad-exclusive multimedia and interactive content) will be available for download from iTunes for $4.99. The May issues will also be available for dowload by April 20th. iPad users will have the option to download 12 pages of content from the April issue — for free — as a preview.

All those who have either the foresight or lack thereof to buy an iPad tomorrow, thus barreling face-first into a brave new world of interactive advertisements, will find that their new toy includes a digital version of Men’s Health.

The magazine’s editor in chief, Dave Zinczenko, and brand editor Matt Bean have been hard at work producing workout videos, humorous (?) pieces, investigative articles and interviews with cover stars Dwight Howard and Ryan Phillippe. How fun! Now you can not only read about abs and glutes and the latest advances in AXE body spray technology on your subway commute to work, but you can do so interactively!
