The ReadyMade posse at the 2006 National Magazine Awards

Meredith Corp., the New York-by-way-of-Des Moines publishing company that engineered a buy of G+J USA’s lady magazines last year, announced today that it has scooped up San Francisco-based ReadyMade, a frequent National Magazine Award finalist.

Meredith plans to increase the magazine’s circulation to 200,000, and keep “the bulk” of operations headed by co-founders Grace Hawthorne and Shoshanna Berger based in the Bay area.
