Media blogger Michael Calderone is leaving Politico for Yahoo!, reports the Huffington Post.
HuffPost says Calderone is joining Yahoo!’s recently formed news team headed up by Chris Lehmann — blogger for The Awl, editor for Bookforum and husband for Ana Marie Cox. Former Gawker contributor Brett Michael Dykes, aka “The Cajun Boy.”
Other journalists to recently leave politico include Pia Catton (joined WSJ), Patrick O’Connor (joined Bloomberg) and Victoria McGrane (joined Newswires).
