Morning Media Menu With NYO‘s Felix Gillette

mornmm.gifToday on the menu we are joined by New York Observer media reporter Felix Gillette.

Gillette had this to say about Obama’s lack of love for newspapers at last night’s presser: “Will that create some anxiety, further anxiety, for big newspaper reporters about their status in the world? Yes.” However, “a lot of times some of the coverage of who gets question at these press conferences is a little bit self-serious.”

Also up for discussion the Observer‘s recent Website redesign, the disappearance of the Media Mob blog and Gillette’s take on Ed Schultz and his future at MSNBC. You can listen to all the past podcasts at BlogTalkRadio.com/mediabistro and call in at 646-929-0321.
