V for Very Small, Somewhat Awkward Protest
We haven't seen V for Vendetta yet we missed Graydon Carter's private screening but we've seen enough previews to know V is for That Movie Where That Chick From Star Wars Shaves Her Head. If you thought that joke was awkward, what would you think of a politically-charged protest of the film in Times Square involving a three-man street theater troupe wielding tin-foil daggers? That's what we thought, too. Weissman, a self-avowed "freegan" who Dumpster-dives to get his food, clothing and comic books to reject consumerism, said "the slogan for the movie is 'freedom forever,' but we feel we need to open up the dialogue about what freedom means."
