NEW YORK, May 23 (Reuters) — Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. (MSO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Tuesday said it plans to start an online social network similar to MySpace.com, but aimed at adult women.

According to Reuters, the site wouldn’t be a standalone property like MySpace, but part of marthastewart.com.

Regardless of where it resides, isn’t social networking, or at least community, part of the plan for NBC’s newly-acquired iVillage? Or, as Reuters notes, Sisterwoman.com, a site designed for women over 21? Then again, older women do like to have options.
