The April House Beautiful finds Devon Fredericks reviewing Nancy Silverton’s newest cookbook. The book, called A Twist of the Wrist: Quick Flavorful Meals with Ingredients from Jars, Cans, Bags and Boxes, which is insane, actually has recipes that sound great. Fredericks cooks up some tasty sounding cumin shrimp, but notes that some of the “twist essentials” were
esoteric enough to be absurd.
It’s nice to see a writer who’s not cowed by the wilder flights of chef fancy.
