NBC Hiring Local Bloggers to Provide Coverage
The upside of the MSM finally reading the writing the wall (or on the Net is this case) and accelerating its online transition is that there may be more work for bloggers!
NYConvergence is reporting that NBC Universal has hired “prominent bloggers” to provide content for its Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York stations’ websites. Currently contributing is Lori Harfenist of The Resident (among other things). One wonders how long it will be before mainstream media companies start acquiring established blogs as a way to further establish themselves on the Internets.
