Need Work? Talk to Yahoo!

yahoo_logo.jpgYahoo! and Microsoft may not have been able to reach an amicable meeting of the minds, but that apparently isn’t stopping Microsoft from actively “poaching” Yahoo! talent. As a result Yahoo! is reportedly “running ads to try and fill hundreds of openings.”

Apparently employees got nervous after Yahoo! head Jerry Yang walked away from the Microsoft deal, inspiring Carl Icahn to launch a proxy battle for Yahoo!’s board. According to the ad Yahoo! is currently running on a number of tech websites one of the perks of working there is “Hack Days” during which employees have “24 hours to mingle, inspire and create — whatever strikes their fancy.” Which sort of sounds to us like blogging, except for the mingling part.
