Nerve.com to Launch VideoGame Blog

61frames.pngNerve.com, once called “Playboy’s body with The New Yorker’s brain,” is launching a videogame blog called “61 Frames Per Second.” What video games and sex have in common beyond the fact they both frequently involve teenagers and dark basements, we’re not sure. Regardless, Nerve seems to be aiming high. From the press release:

We’re breaking down the design choices that make games work or fail, from the moral ambiguity of recent hits like Grand Theft Auto IV to the eerie austerity of classics like Metroid. 61 Frames Per Second is a unique look at the art, history and subtext of the games we play.
Which, we guess would now make them Wired’s brain with Super Mario’s body?
