New York Sun Done

nysun09.30.08.jpgRumors of the New York Sun‘s demise seem to finally be coming true. Today’s edition reportedly marks the last time the right-leaning paper will ever put out a print edition.

But of course maybe not.


Michael Moi, the Sun‘s director of communications emailed us the following last night:

“When the future of the Sun clarifies, we will let our readers know what it is. And until then, we will have no comment.”

The loss of the Sun, should it ever be confirmed, is sad news for the city. Arts coverage will suffer. And that logo’s kind of cool, too.
