Nerve.com Launches Indie Film Site
Nerve.com has unveiled its latest brand extension, the Nerve Film Lounge, a site for indie film nerds as addicted to reels as they are to sex. The "lounge" also houses Nerve's new film blog, Screengrab. The Nerve Film Lounge is the first online film site that allows readers to rate and sort films and DVDs based on humor, sexiness and intelligence. That would be any Parker Posey indie movie ever, then. EARLIER: Oh The Nerve: Vodka Co. To Split Profits On Literary Sex Site's Book The full release: INTRODUCING THE NERVE FILM LOUNGE Tuesday, July 25, 2006 NERVE, the online magazine about sex and culture, is proud to announce the launch of the Nerve Film Lounge, the premiere online destination for indie film lovers. Nerve's outstanding film coverage helped it earn this year's Webby's People's Voice award for Best Copy/Writing. With the launch of the Film Lounge Nerve expands its film coverage to include unique interactive features and continues to publish superior interviews, reviews and essays. The Nerve Film Lounge is the first online film site that allows readers to rate and sort films and DVDs based on humor, sexiness and intelligence. In addition to this exclusive rakings system, users can write their own reviews, browse those written by other readers and participate in online discussions. Continuing Nerve's tradition of first-rate writing and commentary, the Nerve Film Lounge showcases smart, incisive content including Q&As with William H. Macy, Larry Clark, Rob Corddry and Nicole Holofcener, reviews of indie gems and blockbuster bombs and recommendations for date DVDs. The Film Lounge also houses new Nerve blog The Screengrab: news, gossip and comment for indie film addicts. Look for more great Film Lounge content in the coming months. Email This Post |
