Nude Kate Moss Stops Traffic On Lafayette
Kate Moss‘ cocaine comeback isn’t just relegated to the pages of Vanity Fair. Moss, who as FishbowlNY pointed out in late August was plastered all over the New York Times‘ T magazine, appears topless and bottomless on a pair of billboards — for David Yurman and Calvin Klein — within three blocks of each other along Lafayette just north of Houston.
The one on Houston is from the same Calvin Klein campaign that angered East 11th street mosque-goers earlier this summer. (The billboard was “staring mosquegoers in the face,” after all.)
The Yurman billboard, on which Moss appears bottomless, towers over a parking lot on the northeast corner of Bond and Lafayette.
Said a BP gas station attendant who works directly across the street from the Calvin Klein one on Houston: “It’s nice to look at. People stop — tourists — when they get off the 6 train.”
We assume that neither BP nor Happy Paws Pet Resort underneath Moss’ Houston Street billboard, mind the attention. Or the stare.
