NYO Scoops Gawker On Ed. Departure
Big ups to Zachary Roth over at the Observer for scooping Gawker on ed. Alex Balk‘s defection to Radar. The timestamp on the Observer item was 4:13pm according to our RSS reader; Gawker’s item did not post until nearly an hour later. No word yet on who’s in talks to replace him.
On another note, this is a smart move for Balk. We’ve been fans of his work ever since TMFTML (now sadly offline) and Radar‘s been getting more adventurous in their online content as of late. Here’s wishing him lots of luck as the new Radar.com editor and that Radar v3.0 will actually stick around.
