The company is on the hunt for full-time staff writers to pump up the volume on its business, design, environment, food, cities, politics and technology coverage for print and online. As a staff writer, you’ll be responsible for creating, aggregating and editing your content, which includes a potpourri of short items, straight links, slideshows, lists, original reporting, analysis and opinion pieces. You’ll be expected to publish 175-plus posts per month (that’s about 8-9 items per day, people), so you should be full of ideas, and be able to bring a consistent level of enthusiasm to work each day.
To be considered, you’ll need several years of reporting and writing in a breaking news environment for both print and the Web.
