Thayer Evans is a co-author of a Sports Illustrated piece that alleges a slew of misconducts within Oklahoma State University’s football program. Naturally, Evans is now the target for OSU fans’ irrational anger.
According to The Sherman Report, to display their feelings, a few of the fans created a stuffed version of Evans for people to stab, for $100 a pop.
Signs set up next to the Evans effigy promised donations would go to Oklahoma State’s school of journalism, but that school doesn’t exist. It’s actually called the school of media (which issued a statement saying they had nothing to do with this).
So not only are OSU fans way too angry, they’re also stupid.
