Partying With Adrian Grenier And Live Midget ElvesWith the spate of media holiday parties upon us, discerning partygoers often have tough choices: That low-key editorial dinner in Chinatown here, that Viacom blowout with hookahs there. It can make one become even more jaded about the holidays than normal. Last night we didn't have to choose: Last night's "gadgets" party thrown by Stuff magazine at Hammerstein Ballroom tried hard to be a quirky take on the classic Christmas party, but in a kind predictable way midgets, er, little people dressed as elves, live reindeer-like animals grazing, a shoe-shine booth and poker tables. Entourage frontman Adrian Grenier showed up, OK Go! performed, and we won $1500 in fake poker chips before we betting it all on a single hand. We lost. But it was all for a good cause.
