Patrick Dempsey Graces Cover of Architectural Digest

Patrick Dempsey, better known to your mom as “McDreamy” from Grey’s Anatomy, is your latest Architectural Digest cover dude.

Dempsey’s Frank Gehry designed home sits on just over three acres of land and was purchased for $7 million in 2009. “We were looking for a little land and space, and a house with some architectural significance,” Dempsey explained to AD. “The exterior’s simplicity appealed to me, and the inside felt very expansive and calming. Everywhere you looked there was something visually pleasing.”

The 48-year-old actor shares his home with his wife, three kids, four donkeys, a turtle, several chickens, a dog and two goats. No word on if the animals snore at night, but we imagine they probably do.
