The May issue of Details magazine contains a well-timed profile of Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 17-year-old son of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Despite the Kennedy blood, Patrick made it clear to interviewer Laurence Lowe he wasn’t interested in going the Governator route: “No, politics isn’t on the list.”
Hollywood, however, is a different story. Patrick has already started his own clothing company, and just recently landed a modeling agent. And then there are the starlets:
“I just saw Tallulah over winter break,” he says, referring to the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. “I was at their house in Sun Valley.” Although he just reunited with an ex, Patrick cockily refers to his tweet-mates Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez as “girls for the future.”
“My eye, though,” he adds, “is set on Miley.”
With that mischievous remark, Patrick managed to link himself to the queen of teen pop. This week the National Enquirer and Hollywood gossip sites began running stories about a romance between the two. Though the rumor is almost certainly hooey, it’s proved a successful PR move for Patrick, who clearly knows how to talk to reporters. The profile is filled with quotes about how much the teen loves spending time with his family, his commitment to philanthropic work, his entrepreneurial goals, and other things no 17-year-old should be able to say with a straight face.
