Infectious Greed’s Paul Kedrosky Joins Bloomberg

Paul Kedrosky is joining Bloomberg as its newest contributor across multiple platforms, including video, radio, television and online at Bloomberg.com. The gig allows Kedrosky to continue operating his blog, Infectious Greed, covering “finance and the money culture.” Kedrosky has previously worked as an analyst for CNBC and as a contributor for TheStreet.com.

In a blog post about his new position, Kedrosky attempts to answer that age-old (or, well, a few years-old) question plaguing certain bloggers: Is he selling out?:

Yes. I mean, it would be stupid to pretend that there isn’t money involved. There is. (All upfront, and all in renminbi, of course. I have ace counsel.) But doing it just for the money would be boring. This simply seems like fun, and I’m interested in partnering with someone who can help grow a bigger audience for the sorts of things I like to do. And it helps that Bloomberg has more data than I do. A lot more.

So there you have it. Paul Kedrosky: The most honest man in finance journalism.
