PBS Saved!

Hooray for bipartisan love of public radio! Yesterday in a decisive vote of 284-140 the House restored the whopping $100 million that had been snatched away from PBS via CPB. I know, it gets confusing. The important thing is, together we’ve saved Big Bird, Clifford and Jim Lehrer for the next generation. Even if we don’t watch Nova or Frontline or Masterpiece Theater, we’re just glad PBS’ll be out there making them. We respect that.
