Peter Goldstone Ousted From Hanley Wood President Seat

Construction magazine publisher Hanley Wood has decided to rid the company of the president position.  This move effectively removes president Peter Goldstone from a role he has held since last July.  Hanley Wood has suffered major financial losses due to the downturn of the housing and construction markets and, according to an e-mail sent to Folio , CEO Frank Anton believed it was time for a change.

“Consistent with our business strategy of streamlining our operations into one integrated media organization, our Board of Directors has determined that it is appropriate to restructure our senior management team by eliminating the position of president.”

Anton went on to say that no other major executive changes are in the works.  Hanley Wood manages over 30 magazine titles  including Builder, Big Builder, and JLC.
