Photo Trove Leads Police to Two Possible New ‘Grim Sleeper’ Victims

Los Angeles police may have just pinned two more murders to alleged “Grim Sleeper” serial killer Lonnie David Franklin Jr., thanks to a photo trove found in Franklin’s house that was released publicly last month. 180 photos of women, out of a nearly 1,000 photo archive found in Franklin’s possession, were put on the LA Times‘ website. 72 women of these women have been identified from the photos so far. And, if we’re reading between the lines correctly, two of these women are apparently the victims of an unsolved violent crime.

“There is a connection between Franklin and these women [in the new murder investigations] that we are not talking about,” Det. Dennis Kilcoyne told the LA Times. “This is the first time we’ve mentioned it.”

62 women remain unidentified from the picture cache.
