It was only a matter of time. The international phenomenon formerly known as the “Lying Down Game,” now known as “planking,” has come to Los Angeles. The comedy duo The Walsh Brothers shot the above video in various easily-recognizable sites around LA. This surely won’t be the last act of planking we see in our fair city, as the game has a huge web following. Planking carries enough cultural cache in Taiwan to have made international stars of these two young plankers. Their schoolgirl outfits undoubtedly didn’t hurt them either. Meanwhile, a few Australians have even died trying to one-up each other in acts of death-defying plankosity. We’ll see how well Angelenos can hold up to plank pressure.
