Playboy Lands Top Five Spot Thanks to Discount

Say what you want about Playboy — the magazine is dead, Hugh Hefner is probably a robot, etc. — but it still has some magic left. Thanks to the 60 cents issue that tied it to “The Playboy Club” TV show, Playboy landed in the top five October monthlies, improving its ad pages by 70 percent from last year.

For the rest of the top five monthlies — including a surprising Smithsonianhead over to min.
