Showalter Meets Cross: New York Comedians Argue Over Distance Between Park Slope and Boerum HillLower East Sider David Cross appeared on Michael Showalter's CollegeHumor.com show, and both, it would seem, had a lot to talk about. Cross, who rose to fame via Mr. Show an cultishly-followed HBO skit comedy show that was indebted to Showalter's cultishly-followed MTV skit comedy show, The State has been part of about as many cancelled comedy shows as Showalter. Both have a love for Brooklyn and deadpan improv. And both are probably bigger among College Humor's audience than, say, Chris Rock. NOTE: Video not entirely suitable for work. Email This Post |
