Quote of the Day (and probably the year): Art Buchwald

Pulitzer-prize winning columnist and screenwriter Art Buchwald is improbably still alive, despite refusing dialysis months ago.

Among the problems that not dying has caused Art:

“Things I didn’t care about because I was going to die, I now had to care about,” he wrote in a column, distributed to papers including The Washington Post by Tribune Media Services. “This included shaving in the morning, buying a new cell phone that works, rewriting my living will and scrapping all the plans for my funeral. I also had to start worrying about Bush again.”

Enough said.
