Arbitron's survey of listeners -- not subscribers -- found that Fox News is the most popular XM talk show and that Howard Stern's two channels are the most popular on Sirius. From The Daily News:

''Arbitron has released its first-ever ratings for XM and Sirius, covering April-June 2007, and they show that in an average week, 1,225,000 listeners at some point heard Stern.

''Arbitron says just one other satellite channel -- XM's 'Top 20 on 20' -- tops a million.''

The ratings suggest that Stern is getting about 20 percent of the listeners he had during his final months on terrestrial (free) radio. In other satellite radio news, XM Satellite Radio announced 20 percent growth in the third quarter.
