Redbook Announces New Editorial Hires
Redbook has named Jennifer Tung as its new deputy editor. Additionally, Katharine Van Itallie has been named art director.
Tung has contributed to InStyle, Martha Stewart Living and Real Simple and has served as Cookie‘s beauty and health director in addition to editing the magazine’s parenting blog. She has also worked as a senior writer at Us Weekly, features writer at Real Simple, fashion editor at InStyle and features reporter at the New York Post. She began her career at Allure magazine.
Van Itallie previously worked as a design consultant for Bobbi Brown, and has been an art director for Travel + Leisure and Seventeen as well as the design director for More.
Later this month, the magazine will welcome to other new editors: Jihan Thompson will become articles editor for the magazine on September 7, and Erin Hobday will act as health director starting September 13.
Thompson was an assistant editor at Marie Claire and Hobday was the senior editor of nutrition and diet for Self.
