Rolling Stone Names MSG Best Arena in America

The best.

Madison Square Garden was named the best arena in America by Rolling Stone. The magazine asked dozens of music promoters, artist managers and musicians to vote on which music venues were the “coolest,” and the Garden won for the Arena/Stadiums category.

Dennis Arfa, an agent who has worked with acts such as Metallica and Billy Joel, told Rolling Stone, “There aren’t many venues that make a difference, but the Garden does.” You’re damn right it does.

Barclays came in fourth on the Arena/Stadiums list, but keep in mind, this was a poll considering music only. We assume that the Garden would maintain its spot on a sports list, but Barclays wouldn’t even make the cut. That’s what happens when you employ two of the worst Boston Celtics ever.
