Rule #5: You’re right, we never think about Toronto.
The Toronto Star comes right out and says what everyone in New York has always thought, and which Fishbowl heard as late as last night: No, there is no New York-Toronto rivalry. We just don’t think about Canada that much, period. Nor, apparently, do the Torontonians or Canadians living next to it. Bit of advice: Don’t call us “yanks,” if you please, but thanks for the honesty.
