Rupe Melding With UK Tabloid Editor?
So, we were sort of joking around last week about where Bonnie Fuller’s next career step might lead her, and as of right now we still have no idea, however, rumors are flying that another female tabloid editor may get tapped by Rupert Murdoch to head the Wall St. Journal.
You heard that correctly.
Dealbreaker is reporting that Rupe may be looking at Rebekah Wade, editor of the UK tabloid the Sun to take over at the WSJ. Nick Denton confirms he’s also heard the rumor. No word yet on Wade’s mind-melding capabilities, or whether she intends to use the Journal to hunt down child molesters on this side of the Atlantic.
