Seth Meyers Endorses John McCain*!

So while many of you were at home watching historical events unfold on television FishbowlNY went to the far west (of Manhattan) to watch a political debate of another kind (something, once again, that those of you following our twitter already know) between Portfolio’s Matt Cooper and SNL’s Seth Meyers. The event drew a full crowd of very beautiful people including Page Six’s Corynne Steindler, Julia Stiles (rumored, at least), Alicia Witt, Vanessa Carlton, Colin Jost, Kevin Bleyer, and a whole slew of people, drinking some sort of Svedka drink aptly named Cosmopoliticians, who looked like they belonged as background characters on a show like Gossip Girls. Who says politics isn’t sexy.

Cooper and Meyers put on a fun smart show. According to Meyers Mike Huckabee was the funniest candidate to guest on the show: “It was the gift basket portion of his candidacy.” And that from a purely comedic point view* John McCain would be his candidate of choice since Obama is difficult to figure out and therefore that much harder to make fun of. Also, apparently if you actually want to have a beer with the candidate the best thing to do is vote for their rival; President’s are too busy to drink with the common folk.
