Spike Lee’s Levees Screened For Knicks

Earlier this month during training camp, the New York Knicks got a visit by their number one fan — Spike Lee — who screened part of When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, his four hour documentary on hurricane Katrina. Because nothing motivates an NBA team like … a four hour documentary on hurricane Katrina.

Lee was in tears when the screening was over. Lee says the entire team was. Isiah Thomas says the team has been acting more like a team since the screening.
