Spin Editor Andy Pemberton Resigns

ANDY PEMBERTON RESIGNS POST AS EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
OF SPIN MAGAZINE

NEW YORK (JUNE 22, 2006) — Spin Media LLC announced today that Andrew Pemberton has resigned from his position as Editor-in-Chief at SPIN magazine in order to pursue other opportunities.”

Pemberton’s editorship at Spin lasted just two and a half issues. Executive editor Doug Brod will assume the interim editor role until a permanent replacement is named. Elaine Garza, a spokesperson for Spin, did not give a timetable for a a permanent replacement. Spin‘s August issue, which just closed, will not include Pemberton’s name on the masthead.
