We’ve been reporting that 1010 WINS was trying to complete a deal to have Sid Rosenberg on the station. The two parties have now reached an agreement.

FishbowlNY has learned the contract is signed. Rosenberg is expected to start providing sports updates on the mornings beginning January 3.

As we told you previously, sports talker Rosenberg will handle reports from 6:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. weekdays at the all-news station.

Rosenberg, who does an afternoon show in Miami, will be based in South Florida for his WINS shifts.

FishbowlNY tried to speak with Rosenberg. On several occasions, Rosenberg replied that he would talk later that day–to no avail.
