Spotted in Glendale: Radar Online Moving Ad Trucks

Cruising along Colorado Boulevard in Glendale today we spotted a rather strange site: billionaire Rick Caruso waiting in line for Zankou Chicken in a $7,000 Brioni suit.

Haha. Just kidding. Methinks Caruso’s not straying far from the Americana when he finds his way up to Glendale.

No, what we actually spotted was one of those giant moving billboard trucks with a giant ad for Radar Online plastered along the side of it. Sadly, we couldn’t get our camera phone out in time. Not without taking out a sidewalk full of Armenian schoolchildren anyway. So we called Radar and found out they’ve been they have five such ad trucks cruising throughout the LA area–with more to come soon. They’ve been experimenting with the ad trucks for the better part of a month. LA is their only testing ground.

Look at the Interwebz, imposing on the real world.

Anyway, kind of an interesting expenditure–considering Radar’s publisher American Media filed for bankruptcy yesterday. Just sayin’.
