‘Stray-Rod Scandal’ Reaches Day Three

The front pages of the New York Post Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

FishbowlNY A-Rod-itorial: Admittedly, we can’t get enough of Alex Rodriguez and his bleach-y blonde “Stray-Rod” scandal. And we’d never think of defending a guy making $250 million who spends off-days sunning himself in Central Park. Yet, is this “scandal” really worthy of three consecutive front pages? We are still talking about a ballplayer here, right? A ballplayer on a road trip to Toronto. As in Canada. So, he went to a strip club. With a woman. Who just happens to be a Las Vegas stripper. Who, based on published photos, just happens to look exactly like his wife. What else is a ballplayer supposed to do in Toronto in May?

Putting this on the front page “bush league,” New York Post. Bush league.
