Surprise! Nic Harcourt Goes to KCSN

Didn’t see this coming. When we reported yesterday that longtime KCRW music director Nic Harcourt was leaving the station after 12 years, we assumed it was because his big new gig as music supervisor in residence of MTV was taking up all his time. Not true, we’re now told. Harcourt will be joining KCSN 88.5 as a weekend host and will “contribute daily commentary on new artists of note.” Harcourt starts his new gig in mid-July.

KCSN recently hired a new program director Sky Daniels. Looks like they’re trying to make some waves. Signing up Harcourt is obviously a big one.
