Sync Swan Song

Sync Song.pngTomorrow is officially the last day of Sync Magazine, and tonight, they send it off in style: open keg party, dudes! Whoo! Friends of Sync (and friends of drink) can pay their last respects over a beer from 7-8pm at Tavern on First, courtesy not of Ziff-Davis but of Sync at-least-until-tomorrow-Features Editor Matthew Schneiderman, who won it in a drawing and now chooses to share it with Sync friends and hangers-on (which, for the record, is awesome).

If you’re shopping for quick-witted staffers come on by – all the Syncsters will be there (except for EIC Tony Romando – he’s on a plane to Russia as we speak, where presumably he will ponder the four — count ‘em, four — job offers he’s fielding). Already spoken for are assistant editor John Mihaly, who is heading to FHM, and art director Neil Russo, who is going to MBA Jungle. Otherwise, come by, have a drink on Matty Schneids (uh, random new nickname courtesy of Fishbowl – let’s make it stick!). First one to buy him a post-keg beer gets a gratis copy of Ashlee Simpson‘s “I Am Me” featuring “(I Didn’t Steal Your) Boyfriend.” Fratty gadget magazines love them some Ashlee.
