We told you last week that Adam Rapoport was poised to be named Bon Appetit‘s newest editor in chief amid shuffling within Condé Nast’s food group after former publisher Carol Smith‘s departure from the company. Today, the official announcement has been circulated. Rapoport will oversee content for both the print magazine and its digital property, BonAppetit.com.

Rapoport has been with Condé Nast for over a decade, having worked in various positions at GQ. He has also edited Time Out New York‘s restaurant section.
