MetroNewspapersLogoDorothy Robinson is no longer the editor-in-chief of Metro US. According to a memo obtained by The New York Observer, Robinson is “stepping down from her role as editor-in-chief to pursue other opportunities.”┬áRobinson was promoted to editor in January. She had been with Metro since 2004.

In the same memo, Yggers Mortinson, Metro’s CEO, wrote, “We respect and support her decision and I would like to thank her for all her hard work at Metro US over the past 10 years.”

Aleksander Korab will be taking over Robinson’s role for the time being. A successor will be named later.
