Coastal Living Names Managing Editor

Lindsay Lambert has been named the new managing editor of Coastal Living. She comes to the magazine from Rue La La, where she served as content editor for the company’s Living and Little Rue businesses.

“Lindsay is an accomplished editor in the shelter, travel, and luxury spaces, both in print and digital and her vision and expertise make her a wonderful asset to our brand,” said Antonia van der Meer, Coastal Living’s editor, in a statement.

Lambert’s appointment is effectively immediately. She reports to van der Meer.

Coastal Living Names Design Director

Coastal Living has named Victor Maze design director. Maze comes to the magazine from Parenting, where he served as art director. Prior to his time there, Maze was art director for Caribbean Travel + Life.

“Victor is a talented designer and an imaginative storyteller,” Antonia van der Meer, editor-in-chief of Coastal Living, said in a statement. “His vision will be a true asset as Coastal Living continues to inspire consumers with beautiful images from coastal towns spanning the globe.”

Maze’s appointment is effective immediately.

Coastal Living Names Homes Editor

Brielle Ferreira has been named homes editor of Coastal Living. Ferreira comes to Coastal Living from Luxe Interiors + Design, where she served as features editor. Previously she held positions at Carroll & Graf Publishers and more.

“Brielle has an eye for luxurious, yet approachable home décor,” said Coastal Living’s editor-in-chief, Antonia van der Meer. “Her sense of style and ability to navigate the market will be a true asset to Coastal Living as we forge ahead in the shelter category.”

Ferreira’s appointment is effective immediately.

Coastal Living Names New Design Director

Coastal Living magazine has named Dan Josephs as its new Design Director. Josephs was most recently with Travel + Leisure as its Consulting Art Director. At Coastal Living, Josephs will oversee the magazine’s design across all media.

Antonia van der Meer, Coastal Living magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, said Josephs’ knowledge of every type of media made him the right choice.

“Dan brings a keen eye for compelling visual design on all media formats—print, digital, and mobile. His extraordinary vision and unparalleled experience is a vital asset to our team as we further develop the Coastal Living franchise so that it will be accessible anywhere, any time.”

Coastal Living Adds New Editor-in-Chief

Coastal Living has added Antonia van der Meer as its new Editor-in-Chief, effective March 7th. Van der Meer will report directly to Martha Nelson, Editorial Director at Time Inc.

Van der Meer is a vetaren in the business, previously having worked at Conde Nast titles Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, and Your Prom.
