Program Director Cadillac Jack Leaving Power 105

CC.jpgThe frequent flyer miles, or at least the extra gas station visits, are about to become a thing of the past for “Cadillac” Jack McCartney. The Power 105 program director is reducing his exhausting schedule.

McCartney is returning to his full-time job as operations manager at Clear Channel Boston and Providence stations.

Clear Channel SVP/Programming Tom Poleman said in a statement, “It’s a decision that he’s been weighing heavily for some time. Cadillac’s contributions to Power, and all of our N.Y. stations, have been vast. He’s one of the smartest programmers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He’s also a great person. He’s developed an outstanding team and has shaped Power for continued success.”

Poleman is starting a search for McCartney’s replacement.
