Emerson Grad Moves from PerezHilton to HollywoodLife

The lack of any real telltale on the site for Sartore-Bodo, despite the fact that she just spent five years there as a staff writer, managing editor and executive editor, is a reminder of how people like Mario Lavandeira must craftily build and maintain their name brand.

Sartore-Bodo, a graduate of Emerson College, has this week made the jump to a new professional NYC home. She is now the managing editor of PMC’s HollywoodLife. From the announcement:

HollywoodLife Welcomes New Managing Editor

CarolynDavisPicPeople magazine; MTV; US Weekly; HollywoodLife. That’s the career progression of Carolyn Davis (pictured) who, effective July 15, is the managing editor for Bonnie Fuller‘s celebrity news site.

To go along with this hire, HL also promoted senior reporter Emily Longeretta to news editor. From this week’s announcement:
