Motor Trend Promotes Several, Names New EIC

Edward Loh (pictured) has been promoted from Executive Editor — a position he held since last year — to Editor-in-Chief of Motor Trend magazine. Loh is succeeding Angus MacKenzie, who is now Chief Content Officer of Source Interlink Media, Motor Trend’s parent.

Chris Argentieri, President of Source Interlink Media, said of Loh, “His passion for all things automotive and his ability to communicate with an enthusiast audience is matched by his understanding of today’s multi-platform publishing environment. I am delighted that we are able to promote him to oversee one of our flagship brands.”

Ron Kiino, the magazine’s Editor-at-Large, will succeed Loh as Executive Editor. Motor Trend’s Senior Editor, Jonny Lieberman, has also been promoted to Senior Features Editor.
